Impact Maker: Hope Wittrock
Hope Wittrock is a 1976 alumna from Concordia College, earning her B.S. in Music Education. She has served as Music Teacher in Greenwich, Connecticut for 40 years. In this capacity she is responsible for the music curriculum for 440 students and directs many concerts, musicals, and class plays each year.
Her service to Concordia has spanned several decades. From 1981 through 1990 Miss Wittrock served on the Alumni Board, chairing the group from 1988-1990. She has been active in organizing Class of 1976 reunions and chaired the 5th, 35th, and 40th reunions. Miss Wittrock also chaired The Star Celebration Auction in 1990, which raised funds for scholarships at Concordia. Her continued commitment to develop scholarship resources is also evident as she actively stewards the Rev. Theodore Wittrock Scholarship Fund and the Ronald "Moose" Moltzan Scholarship Fund.
Hope is a former Concordia College Board of Regents member, serving on both the Admission and Advancement Committees of the Board. Her passionate commitment to Concordia continues to strengthen and build Concordia for future generations.
